Nothin' Doin'

Not much to report. For some reason, I'm having a hard time getting my act together this week. The alarm is going off at the same time, but it seems HOURS earlier. The bed seems warmer. The outside seems darker. And colder. This is the time of the year where I always feel like sleeping in, staying burrowed under the covers, and coming out in spring. I'd make a good bear. The whole hibernating thing appeals to me. Oh, and I'm cuddly too.

Beyond that, we finally got our apartment de-Christmased. Tree down, all decorations packed away, gifts put in their proper spots. This, too, always makes me so sad. There's so much anticipation in putting up the decorations and looking forward to the holiday and then when it's over it's hard to take it all down. Kevin, I'm sure, could provide the official countdown to the time we can put them up again ;-)

Meanwhile, our temperatures this week range somewhere between 65 and 70 during the day, though still in the 30s at night.

Now, really...is that normal?
