Finished washing, drying and folding laundry? Check.
Lesson plans completed? Check.
Grocery shopping done and all bags unloaded and put away? Check.
TAPS (Teacher and Parent Store) run for supplies? Check.
Papers/Projects/Quizzes/Tests graded? Check.
Call to husband to announce Steelers playoff victory? Check.
All grades entered into computer spreadsheet? Check.
Weekly phone call with in-laws? Check.
In bed and comfortable with computer by 9:00? Check.
So I made up for my laziness yesterday by going into overdrive today, but I got sooooo much accomplished. Another example of how I work well under pressure. At this moment, I feel ready for the upcoming week, which is a good feeling.
But.
Keep me and my kids in your prayers this week. We are wrapping up the first half of the school year and have District Quarterly exams this week. This always causes an increase in tension, as the kids are "tested to the max" and the teachers are anxiously wondering how much what we have taught has stuck.
And so it begins again....
