I have become a believer...

... in Space Bags. Has anybody else had any experience with these? They've been out for several years, but I never thought to buy any. I'm skeptical of those "Made for TV" type of deals. They're all over stores now, though, including Kohls, a department store I trust.

This morning, I went to Kohls looking for flats. I found them and was feeling totally satisfied with my purchase when, on the way out, I passed the Space Bags on a display. Living in an apartment, space is at a premium, and we're at the point now where we're stuffing things all over the place. On a whim, I bought the bags. Results appear below:

That's FOUR down comforters: 1 Queen, 3 Twin (why we have all of these is another story).

All four now fit very nicely in a small space under our bed. Sweet.

Now, I haven't reopened these bags, the company claim that they'll just "pop back" again when I open the zipper. We'll see. I can't imagine any damage coming to them, anyway. I am completely pleased with my purpose.

Cost: $25 for 7 bags. All bags are reusable. I look at it as being a whole lot cheaper than buying 7 storage tubs.

I'll be buying more for all the seasonal clothes cluttering up our closet.
