Another whirlwind week over. 4th grade finished out the week with Fall Fest. All 4 teachers planned an activity and then the kids rotated through all 4 classes. Not sure if it was a success or not. Hmmmm.
Last night, I met a girlfriend for dinner at a local sushi and hibachi place. Yummy, yummy food...but our chef was not the best I've had. Talented, just not as entertaining. He didn't do the onion volcano and we didn't get the seasoning on our vegetables. Oh well. He did, however, try to flip a shrimp piece into my mouth. I missed. No surprise there, I've never been good at catching food with my mouth.
Today was basically a chore day. Return books to the library. Groceries. Bought a pumpkin, which I shall attempt to carve tomorrow. This'll be a first...I've never had to actually do the carving before.
AND ordered tickets to see Trans-Siberian orchestra in December. We went to see this concert last year and loved the show so much that we're going back again this year. Psyched!
Finally, I was accepted to the graduate program at the university I applied to. Go me.
All the news to fit to print. Enjoy the weekend!
