I love Dori. And I love her motto.

My life is consumed with preparing report cards for 34 children (with the assistance of my team teacher). This is a daunting task. For the first time, we're going to electronic grading. This has presented a challenge, as "kinks" keep coming up and then we have to fix those kinks....a task that inevitably nobody is sure how to do. I'm all for technology, but there's something to be said for the paper and pencil method too. Namely, less kinks.

Thursday and Friday are conference days....no kiddies. Celebration abounds. I love the little darlings, but really....I need a break from them. I'm also taking a day off next week for Homecoming. REAL celebration abounds then. No more geographic singlehood for me, at least not for awhile. A short trip later in the year, but other than that, a whole stretch of time where I get to be a spouse again. Hard to believe almost 10 weeks have come and gone, but so relieved that they have.

Now, just a few days more...
