My story tonight is a couple days old, but it just begs to be shared.
Several months ago (okay, probably closer to a year), Kevin and I were shopping in a department store when some guy neither of us knew approached and starts a conversation, out of the blue. As I moved away and continued shopping, I could overhear the guys talking about their jobs, and then golfing. It was at least 15 minutes before Kevin dragged himself away and found me. He said, "That was the most bizarre thing..." We laughed about it, I teased him about sporting a neon sign that said, "TALK TO ME!" and we moved on.
On Friday, Kev and I hit the mall hoping to take advantage of the Black Friday sales. As we approached Bath and Body Works, I offered to hit this one up alone, but Kevin wanted to come in and follow me around. So it was that we found ourselves standing in front of an array of colorful bottles and jars, me trying to make a decision and Kevin, well, just standing nearby, offering the occassional "uh huh" or "that sounds good, honey." From behind us came, "Oh, you got sucked in, too, huh? That's always the way it is."
Excuse me?
"You know, I never know what to do in places like these."
Yeah, well, I'm just in here shopping with my wife.
And they were off. Again, I moved on through the rest of the store as I listened to my husband and this stranger talking about work. Again, it was a good 10 minutes before he broke away and found me. He was wearing the same bewildered expression. He told me, incredulously, "That was the same guy! The golf guy!"
That's right. The golf guy. The same random guy from almost a year ago. At the same mall. Different store.
Is this too weird?

Coincidence is when God chooses to remain anonymous.
But it is pretty freaky, I'll admit. My brother has a 'tell-me-your-life-story' kind of face, too.
