Oops

I went to Rhode Island last week, stopping in Pennsylvania to visit with my family on the way there and back. So where, do you think, is my computer? The good news is, it's NOT in Rhode Island. The bad news is it IS in Pennsylvania. Oops. It'll be about a week before I get it back.

Other good news: The standardized test results for last year's kiddies came back. Since I taught Language Arts to over HALF of the fourth graders this year, I've been on pins and needles since we took them at the end of May. 34 of my darlings took the Language Arts test...32 passed! Including every single one of my special ed kids that everybody said, "Oh, there's no way he'll make it!" Boo-yah! This caused tremendous excitement around the household last night. I'm so proud of them for coming through with such outstanding results and so proud of me for getting them there!

This week is all about classroom prep before we take a vacation again at the end of the week, because summer is (sadly? I'm not quite sure) coming to an end. That means lots of dust, lifting, and unpacking.
