I'm NOT going to spend it sick!

Today was the end of the longest week of the school year. In fifth grade, this is the week where everything comes to a head with 4 days of high-stakes testing. It's probably not coincidence that this is immediately followed by a 3-day weekend.

I had a week off at Christmas...and was sick. Another week off right after Easter...and was sick. This is my first "vacation" since then...and I'm NOT going to spend it sick. Instead, I'll sleep and watch the NCIS marathon, and relish in the fact that this week is behind me and it's "smooth" sailing for the remaining 3 weeks of the school year.
