It's All About Me

Due to my current situation, these last 3 weekends have been, as the title suggests, all about me. The first weekend, I completely immersed myself with my scrapbooking, something I haven't had time to do in a long time. Last weekend my mom came down for a weekend of shopping, a beach concert, and the strawberry festival (which involved more shopping...see a trend here?). Today I went to a Spa Party for Beauti Control. Have you ever done one of these? We all experienced several "mini-spa" treatments, from our eyes to our hands to our feet. Very nice. Very relaxing. Very girly. This would be enough, you would think, but no...three of us have decided to go for pedicures later this week. We're saying it's to celebrate the end of school (10 more days left!!!!). Like we need a reason for a pedicure!

This is not normally me. I'm a homebody. Sometimes, I think, almost too much so. There aren't many perks to the way things are at the moment, but having the freedom and time to focus entirely on me is one of them. I feel indulgent, but not guilty.

It's been good for me.

On another note, Scarlett has discovered her tail. She lays on her back on the floor and bats at it until she catches it and then pulls it to her mouth. Too funny.
