New Comforts of Home

The seating area in our living room was more than adequate for the two of us. We could even fit 3 comfortably. But if we had more than one guest over at a time, somebody was either sitting on the floor or on a dining room chair. Not so comfy.

We have a big comfy couch that's one of my favorite spots. One of those types that you can sink into and stay in all day. The other chair is a papasan chair that was mine before we were married. Now, however, it's Kevin who uses it most often. In fact, it's one of his favorite seats in the house. Still, not enough for company.

So about a week ago, I bought a new chair from Overstock.com. I'd played around on the site before, but this was the first time I'd placed an order. The chair I bought has a retail value of approximately $700. I pad less than 1/3 of that price. I've been pretty excited about it and the chair FINALLY arrived yesterday. I wanted to put pics up immediately, but I hadn't said anything to Kevin and I wanted him to see it first. I was a little worried that he might not be happy with the purchase. It was only fair that I let him have first view.

All my worries were in vain. Kevin was happy with the purchase. His only concern? "Where did the papasan chair go?"
