If nothing lasts forever, will you be my nothing?
What do y'all think? Is this a thinly veiled insult? On the one hand, the idea of being's somebody's forever makes me think "awwwww!" On the other hand...I wouldn't really want to be anybody's "nothing" either.
And before anybody accuses me of trying to pick up guys during my geographically single stretch of time, I picked up THIS line somewhere on the web, after I worked all day, went to class until 7:00, did 2 loads of laundry, and graded 2 sets of papers.
I don't have TIME to pick up Fabio, even if I wanted to. :-P

hello! um, my first two reactions to that pick-up line were:
1.) "awww!"
2.) "how stupid and cheesy!"
it seems, though, that the sentiment behind it is sweet. i can see the other side now that you bring it up: who DOES want to be "nothing"? interesting point, my friend, interesting point.
also, thanks for your continued support of the hell that *is*... my first year (?) of teaching.
