I have this week off for spring break, a much needed chance to regroup and recharge as we head into the last nine weeks. Kevin and I drove up to Pennsylvania after work on Friday for Easter. He left after dinner on Sunday to head back to the beach before leaving on a surge deployment to the British Isles yesterday morning. He'll be gone for six weeks.
Meanwhile, I'm making an effort to put schoolwork aside and instead have been shopping, playing with my parents' two kittens, drinking martinis, meeting a girlfriend for dinner, reading, and watching as much tv as I want. I'll be in PA until tomorrow, and then will head back to the beach myself tomorrow afternoon. There, I have plans to meet up with a girlfriend and her new puppy, scrapbooking, and work on a research paper, the last project for my graduate class. Maybe some spring cleaning, too.
Due to Kevin's work schedule this summer, we've had to postpone yet another vacation, so I'll be keeping busy trying to find an alternative to that situation, too.
Mostly, I'm happily busy this week.

Just so long as you don't find an alternative to Kevin, you'll be fine. Happy Birthday and I hope the deployment is some useful girly time.
