Off the Dole

Okay, I was never really on, since my paychecks from the job I left won't technically stop for another month or so. But now I have new employment, starting in about a week and a half, with a learning center nearby.

I've gone through interview rounds several times in the last 4 years. I've had the bad interviews. You know, the ones where you leave and you just know you're not getting that call.

This was the exact opposite. I had the phone interveiw on Monday, they asked me to come in yesterday for a face to face. And it was one of those interviews where everything just went perfectly. So when they offered me the position at the end of two hours, I took it.

Woohoo!

It feels good to have that piece in place.
