Dwindling Hopes

Well, I went in for another job interview this morning (did I mention this is my sixth in the last couple weeks?), and the whole thing lasted a grand total of....tada!....15 minutes! *Sigh* My guess is that they already had someone selected for the job and today was just a formality. Either way, they'll let me know by this afternoon or tomorrow morning, at the latest. This really was my last opportunity for a full-time job for the fall. Not feeling really optimistic about this one. And trying to be okay with that. Trying.....

In a bright spot, Kevin comes home in just a few days, and I'm beyond ready. Three weeks seems like it's been a really long time. The original plan was for me to go spend some time with him in Rhode Island, but, of course, I thought I'd have a job offer by this point too. C'est la vie.

All for now. Still holding out just a little bit of a hope for that phone call.
