Continuing

My sudden burst of productivity continued into the afternoon. I was on a roll with the cards, so I then wrote the Christmas cards for my 16 4th graders. Having finished that, I vaccuumed and dusted the living room and bedroom and then ventured a glance into the guest room. This room has become the bane of my existence. It started out fine, but has, as with many guest rooms, turned into the catch-all room. The closet, especially has fallen to this sorry state. I called Kevin to help and then began literally tossing things out of the closet into his waiting hands. This project took longer than I anticpated (a testimony to the extent of the "junk" accumulated) and I stopped to COOK a real dinner. Not even a "pop-a-pizza-into-the-oven" dinner, but a real dinner. After dinner it was back to finish the guest room, which now, miraculously has again become a nice room with a walk-in closet that you can actually walk-in. Success! I'm rewarding myself with a bath, complete with a glass of the last of the apple wine, and my current book of choice The DaVinci Code.

Once I'm refreshed and feeling clean again, we're headed out to the Beach to drive through Holiday Lights at the Beach. I went last year when my family was visiting and Kev was out of town and was uber-impressed by the 250 displays. All from the warmth of your own car as you drive down the boardwalk. It's well worth the cost to get in. I hope Kevin is as equally impressed as I've been hyping this up since last year. Tune in for further reviews.
