Somewhere, I've heard the phrase, "If you don't like the weather, wait 10 minutes." I haven't heard it applied to this area, but we could modify it somewhat to say, "If you don't like the weather, drive 5 miles."
No kidding.
I left work and the weather was sunny, cloudless and about 60-65 degrees. Beautiful. Everybody is walking around in shirtsleeves.
I drove 5 miles towards home and hit a WALL of fog. Visibility less than 100 feet. Misting. And 47 degrees. I had to turn the headlights on to see. People are pulled off on the side of the road.
It's like entering the twilight zone.
"I get something out of them. When I feel down, I like to treat myself. Clothes never look any good, and food just makes me fatter, but shoes always fit." In Her Shoes ~Jennifer Weiner

All I have to say is, "If you have rain, please send it to Texas"!
Actually, I'm going to wash my car this weekend, so that should do it.
Ohhhhh, you can have it! It rains ALL winter here. No snow, just rain.
This Pennsylvania girl finds the winter rains miserable.
