Here it is, folks. The official list of what I would like to accomplish this year, in no particular order.
1. Accomplish anything on this list.
2. Be a more optimistic person. Believe it or not, I used to be an optimist to the point of being unrealistic. Somehow I seem to have now swung too far in the opposite direction.
3. Stay in our current location and not have to move. BUT! If we do have to move, I want to be able to be optimistic about it (see #2).
4. Have some sort of fitness routine. Stop laughing.
5. Accept compliments more readily.
6. Organize my (and spouse's) filing boxes into a filing cabinet. Hence, allowing more room in the closet for my shoe collection to grow. Which brings me to....
7. Buy one pair (okay, you talked me into it, maybe more than one...) fantabulous new pair of shoes. Every girl has her vice.
8. Be asked to renew my contract at work.
9. Go back to school for my graduate degree.
10. TRAVEL!!! Where, you ask? Well, anywhere. We've got these frequent flyer miles just BEGGING to be used.
I admit to falling into that "fresh beginnings" trap every year. Still...isn't that part of #2?
Happy 2006!
"I get something out of them. When I feel down, I like to treat myself. Clothes never look any good, and food just makes me fatter, but shoes always fit." In Her Shoes ~Jennifer Weiner
