Hunkered Down

After a full workday, I had training for a computer program from 3:00-5:00. Then, after spending an hour stripping my classroom to prepare for testing next week, I spent an hour and a half at a softball game for a student's team. It rained, of course. Thank goodness for my golf umbrella to keep me dry.

Kevin left me with a little bit of the sniffles. It's raining outside again. The temperature has dropped to "chilly." It's a good night to stay tucked in.

Tomorrow is "Finally Friday." It's also the 3rd-5th grade luau from 6:30-8:00. I think that the person who planned a dance until 8:00 on a Friday night is a nutcase. But I'll be there, monitoring the jello eating contest. A colleague reminded me that I have to hide the shooters until after the kids leave. Now there's a thought. I hadn't even considered that....
