I Am Woman!

Today, I broke out the toolbox. I am not normally a toolbox girl.

The garden tub is in our master bathroom is one of my favorite features of this apartment. However, the showerhead leaves something to be desired. It's pretty much standard issue and it does its job. The showerhead is way above my own head and the angle makes it difficult for the task of shaving one's legs. After almost a year of this, I finally decided today that an easy fix was in order. With that in mind, I bought a new showerhead with a detachable piece so that I can now bring the water to me.

Buying it was easy. The impressive part is that I managed to install it. Especially since those who wrote the directions confused "clockwise" with "counterclockwise" and caused some momentary confusion on my part. Nevertheless, the whole contraption now works quite well and I feel pretty darn proud of myself!

Now that the toolbox and I are better friends, maybe I can build that windowseat I want.

Wouldn't that be a surprise?

My husband taught me: righty--tighty

Lefty--loosie.

I was well into my 20s when I learned that. Our 4 year old boy knows it.

This reminds me of my newlywed days while Mr. Charming was in Ranger school. Aaah...I can almost smell the estrogen.
