Boat-owning friends of ours invited a bunch of people out to the inlet yesterday for a "Last Hurrah of Summer." We grilled, played with the dogs in the water, and took turns riding out on (and behind!) the boat. Nothing beats burgers on the beach one one of the last few perfect days of summer.
Last week was a long week, the first couple days of this coming week promise to be just as busy. Today I spent all day (9-5) chained to my computer.
In good news, though, my wandering sailor comes home in just over two weeks.
