Saturday mornings when Kevin is out of town are generally long mornings of self indulgence. Sleeping late (because there's no morning person here to wake me), long shower, then websurfing. I usually don't get fully dressed and "put my face on" till noon. This morning, I applied some discipline and completed a grad school assignment before I began the websurfing, but now we're back to the self-indulgence part. Which is how I came to create the new sidebar so the rest of you can see the sort of sites I'm hitting in my Saturday morning cruise through cyberspace.
Dooney and Bourke- This is probably my most sinful pleasure. I have not yet convinced myself that I need a $300 purse, but I've almost convinced myself I need the one on ebay for $60.
Flowers-I would love to have fresh flowers in the house 365 days a year.
New York and Company- I would say that half my wardrobe is from this store alone. They're a little expensive if you don't shop there often, but incredible to their loyal customers.
Perfume- Last year, for the holidays, Kevin surprised me with a bottle of Chanel No. 5. I've learned that there's a big difference between good perfume and the stuff I can buy at Target.
Shoes- Designer, boots, flats, flip flops, heels...you name it, I want it.
Sparklies- Code word in our house for "jewelry." The famous light blue box is a bit of a stretch, but a girl can dream!
Starbucks- Overly priced unnecessary calories in a cup...but YUM!
Theatre- We just splurged and bought season tickets to the new performing arts center in town. Can't wait till December!
Travel- Invite me! I'll be there!
Wine- Living in Virginia, we've been privileged to visit some of the best wineries on the east coast. Now...California? France? Italy? See above!
And Mom...consider this my Christmas list. ;-)

If you feel like visiting NC, you are always welcome - Sarah M.
I'm a Dooney fiend myself.
I love pricey purses but,
I have kids.
Sigh.
