In a part of the country that doesn't get alot of wintery weather (read: no snow days), we are hunkered down for a prospective 2 (!?!) inches of snow. Practically nothing, but it's something. With husband out at sea again, I have stockpiled everything I might need, should winter decide to arrive. In this case, I have a wide variety of wine to choose from, the "secret" family recipe for chip dip, grad school work, lesson plans, and report cards. Not all to be consumed at the same time, of course. It's the perfect opportunity to catch up on all that needs to be done so that next week is not quite so overwhelming.
Problem is, with a three day weekend, my normal tendency to procrastinate kicks into overdrive.
"I get something out of them. When I feel down, I like to treat myself. Clothes never look any good, and food just makes me fatter, but shoes always fit." In Her Shoes ~Jennifer Weiner
